During my recent stay at the Hampton Inn in Kalamazoo for the UKC Premier Nationals, I found it to be a practical choice for a corporate retreat, thanks to its business-oriented amenities and overall functionality. The hotel features three meeting rooms, accommodating up to 125 attendees—ideal for team gatherings or presentations. High-speed internet access was reliable, making remote work feasible. I appreciated the continental breakfast, which provided a decent start to the day amid busy schedules. The lobby's computer station added convenience for quick tasks without needing to open a laptop. While the indoor pool was enticing, I unfortunately didn't have the opportunity to use it due to scheduling constraints. I encountered some inconsistencies this time. Accommodations seemed bare-bones, lacking some customary amenities, and my requests regarding a cancellation due to unforeseen health issues were not well addressed. This Hampton Inn still stands as a functional hub for business travelers seeking a clean, communicative environment. Although I faced some disappointments on my recent visit, the overall value and resources available might outweigh these drawbacks for future stays.
